Its with regret that I'm not going to be able to make it on the 14th-15th. I've obviously make a boo boo as I had the date in my calendar as the 7th and 8th and camping with my son and the Cubs on 13th-15th.

I know the date for MD4 was changed a while ago but I've only just realised it clashes.

So that means one more space for someone who wishes to go flying.

Hi All

Does anyone have one of those GSM plane finders lying about that you can call to get co-ordinates if lost? I'm keen to do a bit of a long flight on the day and could use the peace of mind :) I'll gladly replace it if lost.

Or, anyone have a link of one that is reasonably priced and actually works?

Very good to hear from you Ratty, and over the moon that you will more than likely be coming - cool!

That's a great picture of the Church here in Haseley? Was that taken from a quad?

As to Chinnor Hill, I'm not sure - all the hills in that area are pretty much forests. Have a look on my YT channel - just did a 10k flight from Gt Haseley to Christmas Common (also on the Chiltern Hills in line with Chinnor, but further up near the M40 and Stokenchurch).

That's why I'm keen to use a tracker, so with thanks, yeah I'm keen to chuck yours in my plane and as always, if I break it / lose it, I'll buy it :)

I know a place up on Chinnor hill where there is a big clearing amongst the trees, with a great view. Ill check out your vid, will prob recognise some places.  :D
