Why a dipole on the transmitter side?

The dipole is well documented as performing well and better than a whip even the popular diamond SRH-771
Also the diamond is a sleeve dipole and slightly more narrow-band than a dipole
One other thing, when I used to fly with my diamond I always managed to get the null zone and would be awkward holding the radio upright, with the dipole you can just easily bend to the angle you need

To be fair I'm more interested in the dipole for the tx side. But given how reasonable they dipoles are I thought I'd order the pair. Saves on the 3 quid postage of I decide I then want one for the RX

why you would want to make it "better" is beyond me. I've been 2 miles out to sea and still had rock solid control and video.

Look at the Itelite products. Should cost you about £85
