hi bignose13 im new here just got fpv on my phantom irc 600mw vtx and black pearl diversity monitor with standard rubber duck not looking for great range as its a quad but upgrading to skews or helicals would that give better reception through trees and buildings or nothing can help with that, I tested with standard antenna in house with black pearl out side in garden bout 10 to 15 meters away and signal was very good house is made up of cob and concrete block walls a waiting your reply thanks

I thought the Black Pearl receivers were not compatible with ImmersionRC, only Airwave units

The only way you can reliably go through buildings and trees etc is going to 1280 but as you have blackpearl and Irc 5.8 your limited a bit
Having skews and a helical though is a million times better than just the rubber ducks that come with your gear

Defo compatible Ian, the BP has all 32 channels and have several customers using this gear mate

how long is ur right angle skews as from the top of the connector to the tip of the original antenna is 86mm high and do u have stock or is it made up as and when they r needed the black pearl antennas r oppsite to the irc 600mw
