Hi, have used the 3 turn helical up to 3km so far, with a Phantom 2 quad, and still getting perfect reception! Love it!  Only reason I haven't pushed it further is because of the range I've set on the quad, and I'm still a bit nervous about flying out that far.

Will let you know what limit I finally get to.

No, not on FPV Scotland.  Just had a look and it's great group. 
Lived in Scotland for many years, but now on the south coast of England - much better weather!  :)

It's a hazy day here but I just took my AXN out to 3KM with the bignose13 3 turn helical and a cheap hobbyking skew on 5.8. Video got pretty ropey at the end but I wasn't that high off the ground and as I say the conditions weren't ideal.
