Looking really smart and really taking shape :)
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

Funky Diver

That is SERIOUSLY awesome!!   Well done dude :)

Thanks for the comments, finally got a chance to give it its maiden hover and it was great! There was a steady 5/6 mph wind gusting a little but nothing major, needed little trimming and no gain adjustments. Yaw control is in rate mode, didnt get chance to try HH mode as i picked up the wrong battery (flat one) instead of the fully charged one, hence the left motor died at the end, luckily i was low! :) Anyhow, really enjoyed it, cant wait for more and to start the FPV and Camera mods. :)

This was a true maiden too, not pre-trimmed out ones. :)

Gibbons FPV Tricopter Maiden Hover.

Thanks

TRULY TRULY AWESOMENESS!!!!

I can't help but wonder how well it would translate to VTOL ergo Osprey :P

Very sweet flight for your first i would imagine the lengths of the arms are going to give you brill stability for fpv later what length are they gibbon?

Nice 1!

I started out with this 4 gyro setup and it worked really great once everything setup, just get a low voltage Beeper on thee and its an ideal camera platform!!

Also did you set your speed controllers to nicad mode and not lipo mode as this will cause an arm to dip and become unrecoverable.

looks really good mate,
I've got 50cm arms on my tri flys as if on rails and very stable, just one thing how did you manage to take the photo's in my house without  me knowing LOL

your gonna have some serious fun with that cheers tony
