Have you guys heard about this firmware that is said to improve the DVR recording quality on the V2's...? http://fatshark.helpscoutdocs.com/article/107-10611071domv2-domhd-dvr-fw

My question about this is, in the manual it says that PAL / NTSC are auto selected, yet instructions for this firmware suggests that you must choose one or the other?

Any ideas on whether to do this fw, and whether I'm right in saying it's one or the other?

Mark, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you did a short video with the 1.3 module didn't you?

I'm not expecting the range from the receivers in my ground station, but it will be so nice convenience wise!

Hi rich, it is available now, just got mine!

the 1.3 Bruno...? Bloody hell, I know what's gonna happen - only 3 channels, that means 5.8 will be clear at Mad Dogs FFS :)
No the 2.4g module from immersion

Mark, quick question. Which 1.3 frequency do you find works best bearing in mind we are both affected by that stupid radar station north of Liverpool (can't remember it's name now). I think it transmits at 1250-1350 so I'm tempted by 1360 but I know the antennas are not centred on that.

Mark / Thunder - are you both using UHF for control btw...? Any effect? I have the EZUHF module on international band...

Cool, thanks Mark. I'll give all channels a go, but I was thinking that channel may be best.

I have only just received my 1.3 module so I don't know how it is affected by uhf, but I will be using the two together so I'll report back. I'm using extreme hopping too.

I had been using uhf with my normal 1.3 receivers and they has no issues with it.
