I have a suggestion for a review for you!

Soo..  Not really a tracker.

But just an option to keep the antenna level when you happen to put your head down?

Yeah, I suppose so. It's more like a gimbal for your head, but having watched the vid it is actually a neat little project. To allow for my head movement though it would have to move in the x y and z axis...

Yup.   I get the  feeling that while cool..   A proper ground station would be better!

Horses for courses though. I just do not have time to set up a ground station when I fly, but I do miss not using diversity. So built into goggles is good, but the wandering FPV head is bad. I can see the use in this, however I doubt I'll do it myself!

That project cropped up in Thingiverse when I was looking for existing doors to model from.  It's a cool little thing, but doesn't make much sense for what I want diversity for - where I accept there's going to be a certain amount of keeping my head in certain positions.

That said, I'm going to need to wait until I do get the doors to check the system out properly.  I tried it with a skew and a 3 turn and it worked well (although I wasn't going out more than 300m on a mini quad) with the diversity module stuck on the goggles (which is actually the LaForge's recommended mounting) the weight of the 3 turn meant that it peeled off after a while and I had a helical clanging into my face.

Didn't the guy doing the LaForge video used to work for HobbyKing, presenting videos from Hong Kong ??????

One of these little guys -

Along with 4x spare batteries and charger. Had a quick play on my break but it needs some tuning, can't wait to blast around the house! :D

This little lot has arrived over the last three days! All in anticipation for my first ZMR 250. With a lot of help from Ratty I should be good to get airborne this Sunday!

Reallacc diversity module. Just done a quick test and all seems good. Doesn't get hot and diversity switching just has a blip of static. Will take it out for a proper run tomorrow but it's a neat little package.

My first lipo charger! You got to start somewhere!

Technically it arrived yesterday and by arrive I mean driving up to collect it. Thanks Ratty for all your help, I'm a very happy man. The first flight went reasonably well apart from losing it in a hedge for half an hour. Bring on the evening for more flying!

Firefly Q6....

Worth the wait...Cheaper than a Mobius and better....A few test clips on the ground look fine.

Arrived with Ver 2.1 installed.....These guys need an official web site with Versions listed properly though....I know ver 2.2 is available, but where to get it...?

Pleased it arrived with a Lens guard of sorts too....:)

Good to see it finally arrived Dave.  Although I didn't get a lens protector...curse of the early adopter :)

This arrived yesterday as a review thingy from Gearbest trying to challenge the dominance of the tinywhoop.

It's quite interesting from their marketing point of view as it's very much a "ready to fly, no building".  It came out of the box built as you see it, but obviously you have to attach a receiver to it and that means soldering straight on to the flight controller.

Obviously I'm going to put a FrSky full range receiver on it and try and get a tiny quad 1km away from me :) (and with any luck, back again)

Hi Wayne...:)

That baby Quad looks interesting....Look forward to your review, I will need something to keep my eye in over Winter...:)

I have found the official Website for the Firefly Camera.....Having downloaded a genuine Ver 2.2 Firmware, its now updated no problem at all, very easy to do with its own routine.

I know my TF Card is too slow, but the Giro Stabiliser doesn't seem to work for me..?....Its seems to be working ok though other than this....I rather like it.....It still needs a mount of some kind.
