Just make sure you get the polarity right for the supply, you don't get a second chance. Everything else is really straight forward if you  follow the many videos and guides. Make sure you pay attention to the last couple of pages of the manual, follow the pre flight and first flight regime in the manual. There is a really good forum on rcgroups
getting to grips with the manual now lol... at least it has a preset for skywalker aircraft as a good starting point

Dominator V2 / HD v1 DVR upgrade kit.

I've always been disappointed with the quality of the Dominator V2 Dvr recordings.  Whether this will be an improvement, we'll see.

Just need to sort out the problem of having some flights that are worth recording.    :D

Some new Dominator V3 goggles.  Better than the V2, although I'm still not entirely sure I prefer them over a decent monitor, but I shall give them a fair trial.

I may need to cut away a bit of the faceplate too, it seems to interfere with my cheek bones...

It would be easier to cut away a bit of your cheek bones !
You learn something new every day.

Andy Sayle

Ha ha.  It's just the very bottom outside corners of the faceplate that sit right against my cheekbones.  I reckon removing about 10mm of material there will do the trick nicely.
