Brings back memories of those smug little gits doing rubix cubes on Saturday Superstore in about 10 seconds while Mike Read watched on with that Sarah Greene looking all sexy to my 10 year old self.........  I had to pull my Rubix cube apart and reassemble it to do it...... I can do one now though, if I have the algorithms written down and 10 minutes or so.......

Lovely pup, will be lots of fun!
Still miss our old Bernese - wonderful dog - died when he was only six and a half years.
Bloody heart breaking...

That is young :(

My dad used to have Afghan hounds and they all passed on relatively early.

He now has 4 King Charles Spaniels (out of 6) and all of them have had heart issues - he spends a small fortune every month on medication for them.

Loopdreams

Seems there's so many breeds with health issues these days, due to the overly selective breeding to exaggerate physical features rather than health.  There's folks trying to do the same thing to cats now as well, trying to selectively breed them into the exact shapes/looks that people want.  Sad.

Ynot6

often the larger breeds have the shorter lives. though our lab did 15 1/2, which was very good. we now have a staffy, 18 months, so a complete pillock!
OMG, IT FLIES!
