Going off topic the crashtesthobby guys have a rather interesting video of models flying into solid walls. The slo-mo is worth a few watches.

electrotor - thanks for the links, but wings aren't really my thing - I prefer fixed wings.

As regards the off topic Into a brick Wall video - that's probably what will happen to any design I make - on its' maiden !

No probs. I hadn't realised your preference.
Fixed wing twin pusher designs are fairly unusual. In the full size world Piaggio have designed a few, but they have canards. There is the classic Convair B-36 bomber with 6 pusher props and 4 turbojets - overkill methinks, for a model. Many years ago Multiplex marketed their Sonic Liner with twin pushers but again it had canards.
Keep us posted on your progress.

Thanks for all the answers / comments. Think I might explain why I asked the question.

Over the last few years I have acquired a number of FPV foamies and realised they all have, in my eyes, design faults. I am therefore getting close to considering designing and building one I have designed.

Basic requirements
1) A steady flier with good lift - no aerobatics - suggest 1900 to 2000 mm wingspan
2) Ability to carry motorised gimbal on the nose - same as Coyote's TwinDream.
3) Belly lander - no undercarriage so can land 'anywhere'.
4) Adjustable battery location to adjust c of g for large / smaller lipos.
5) Design to allow easy access to lipos and electronics.
6) Twin motors - less stress and facilitates redundancy.

MTD and Twin Star check most of these boxes don't they? Save yourself some hassle!

My ideal FPV plane would be a Skyhunter but instead of the pusher prop at the rear of the fuselage, I'd have twin tractor motors on the wings just in front of where the tail boom meets the wing.

basically a twin boom MTD..... or a twin engined Skyhunter

Why? - purely for looks? Or for some aero reason?

Just combined the best features of each plane.

Do you fit rudder servos on a Skyhunter or not bother ?

Never bothered with the 2 hunters I've had. Whilst I'm glad I've got a rudder on my walker I think the hunter is fine without
