Maiden went really well - I'm super-happy with it, to coin an americanism. I launched (or got krikey to throw it) LoS and then went into goggles after it seemed to respond to controls and wasn't falling out of the sky.

First time out with the Vector, and it really impressed me. Obviously launched with everything off, and then turned on stabalised and then 2d with hold, checked loiter and RTH worked - was all good. May need to tune a bit, was a bit bumpy sometimes, but it's hard to tell as it was another gusty day for flying.

The nose was dropping a little on the first flight out, so moved the lipo a touch back for the second which sorted things out. Reading the manual now on the vector and I've reset where straight and level is, just to check it wasn't that - although we went up slightly nose heavy on purpose.

May have had a quick cloud visit on the second lipo

Doesn't want to fly slow does it - loads of power, and feels like I can get a good long flight out of the 5200's I have. Very happy indeed. Putting a video together of a quick walkaround and the maiden, but the flight not overly exciting due to the fact I was playing with switches and checking everything worked.... and I kept losing where we were as it was all quite samey looking on the ground.

Good stuff. Hoping to have mine in the air this weekend. Virtually identical build really, vector, firefly but I'm just using 4000mAh lipos as that's what I've got.

Nice aren't they - shove a GoPro in krikeys hand and he'll get you nice footage... despite my best efforts to miss us on the fly-pasts repeatedly

Looks like you did the Maiden just in time Wayne, weathers turning now....It sounds pretty uneventful...Not like flying a mushy Bixler eh?..:)

Cant wait to see the Firefly footage and the live downlink too...?
