Nasty. Burns are certainly some off the worst. Major burn victims are often suicidal.

Is it just me or do you have a really long middle finger!? :D

Dillwhacker

God above, just think, a burn with a fag-end hurts enough - I can't imagine how painful that must have been.
Be careful with it and get mended as soon as ya can FPV dude.
Best wishes  ;D

Dizzy

So sorry to see your like this Simon I have total sympathy with you I accidently put my elbow in a commercial fryer many years ago whilst trying to save a test meter from falling in, That pain was unbelievable So with burned hands I can only imagine  :(

Hope you can sleep ok and the pain killers have it all under control,  I can only wish you well with a speedy recovery.

kindest regards

I know how much pain and agro you are going through. I did exactly the same many years ago and I still have the scars. For that reason we banned deep fat fryers at home and we use one of these now http://www.tefal.co.uk/Cooking-appliances/Healthy-Fryers/ActiFry-White-1KG/p/1500635536. We have had one for years and they are so safe I let the grandkids use it.

Ouch, that looks proper painful Simon! Hope you're not in too much discomfort, just take it easy and hopefully you will recover quickly! Will they need to do grafts or anything with it?

Nice mate, great to see people fly if i'm not

On a side note though, I'd like to thank all you lot for the kind words of get well etc, really, the last week has been hell for me, with the pain and nightmares I've been having, this helps me move on, and today I've managed to get on the chat to talk to a few of you, made my day tbh, thanks guys

I used a Bignose 5 turn recently as well.  My Bixler went down somewhere in very long bushes, but not where I thought.  Although I could see the coordinates in my goggles, I couldn't work out how to make google maps take me there on my phone (I must sort this out though), so I used the 5 turn on my goggles and used it as a direction finder.  Turn my head, look for each extreme where it's getting fuzzy, then go back to the middle and follow my head.  Repeat until found (although it didn't help me when I walked through a bog and now have smelly trainers)
