Dil, the misunderstanding arose because he had 3 threads open asking the same thing and he'd mentioned something in one thread that he left out of the others.

The other threads are gone now

You sound surprised that 4 threads on exactly the same subject spread over the forum were reduced to one. Hardly surprising really. Only answer to this thread, this is the only one that will remain.

If he ignores his pm to refrain from spamming / crossposting it won't matter anyway :)
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

Not surprised at all Ian, I was the one reporting his other threads to mods.

The point I was making is that the OP didn't help himself by spamming the forums, in fact it caused disparity in the assistance we are trying to give him.

I was just informing Dilwhacker why the confusion happened

Coyote

Indeed, he really didn't help himself granted.

Let's hope we can collate all the information here.

the 3.5mm jack might not be wired up the same way as the VRX socket. Therefore the VRX might be outputting the video on a different RCA connector. I've had it happen to me many times. Not all AV connectors are the same, and some FPV equipment has different pin-outs to standard AV connectors are expecting.

Also try the monitor on both av sources. There are 2 rca inputs I can see. Perhaps the monitor is on the wrong av input. Change between av1 and av2 with the plug connected to the yellow, the red, then the white rca plugs

yes I tried connecting the other av cables yellow to white and red. And the other yellow cable without the pin to the ones coming out from the VRX.
