I've ordered an FY 41AP Lite to try, hoping it will do the job. If so I can have two of them for the price of one Vector.

From the looks of it you get an airspeed sensor included which is used in the rth and it manages the throttle to fly at the cruise speed you configure. Only issue with this will be if you set the speed to low..

Other thing I like the look of is unless you are below 50m it will rth at your current altitude. Good if you've flown higher than normal over a hill  ::)

Two of my flying buddies and myself use the FY41-Lite , and have had great service from them to date.
One's in a Bixler , one in a Penguin and mines in my FX61 wing.
I strongly recommend that you read through the WHOLE FY41-Lite thread on rcgroups. YES- I know its pretty big but I'm glad I did because the instructions are lacking somewhat.
Good luck :D

Naze with GPS and INav Firmware or PatrikE is awesome.

Its solid far easier than my apm mini
So much you can have MY APM mini and power module for £25.00 delivered
If you would like to try it :-) No GPS though as its on the naze.

Good Luck
Jay

What naze version and GPS are you using? I fancy giving this a try.

Rightly or wrongly , I've never had the ability to monitor rssi or been bothered by the lack of it.
If I lose my rc signal it simply turns and comes home. No worries ;)

Ah, I like having rssi as it warns you you're getting near the limit before you actually go past it

RSSI was only "useful" before RTH systems... now it's just another thing on the screen I hardly look at.
