DJI Phantom 2 Vision + Conversion to 5.8 ghz

This is a bit of a long shot. A friend has asked me to convert his Phantom Vision + to 5.8.  Now I know that in the past there where off the shelf conversion kits that had cables DJI i but are they still around? If not is it just a question of connecting a vtx and iOSD up to the camera and battery in the normal way and if so does anyone have a circuit diagram?
