i really cant see this being for the general hobbyist..
with its functionality or price tag

5.8 2.4 and 900 and you can plug a 35 module in if you want
true 16 channels...
selectable switch configs, rf cloud connectivity, removable screen, fpv goggles that wireless connect to tx etc etc etc....

really a bit over the top for an EZ* or what ever LOL

BUT for serious AP work this thing looks a dream !!!
if it would do 868 not 900 then we could use it for all sorts!!

and ALL legal in the UK  ;D

i really liked the idea that you could have a separate rf control for a camera man (/weapons officer lol)
or what ever you wanted and you could still hold your super fancy tx no cables or crap.

personally i think it looks amazing as well,
and the size dosnt look a problem to me....
like g said, you hold it where the sticks are so could be 2ft long? haha

bit weird though.. sure last time i looked you could buy one?
now the link dosnt work?? or maybe iv missed it...

simon.
i dont crash... i land with style!

for serious AP work you would use propietary groundstations though.
To utilize that the radio must be able to understand all relevant protocols that are in use.
If it would talk Mavlink you could at least get the ardupilot and multiiwii crowd interested.
