Looked pretty good to me, from the flying to the video editing. I wouldn't do that myself and I certainly don't support the illegality of it of course but hands up who hasn't got any illegal-FPV skeletons in their closet.

best vid I've seen on this forum to date, lets face facts here any daft sod can fly round hills fields etc but who's got the balls to do london, new york, prague, and many other cities only TBS, keep up the good work lads and don't let the bastards grind you down (p.s as if they could LOL).

I don't think it's so much balls as sheer disregard for the safety of others.

If you think their vid is the best you've seen here you've obviously never seen any of White Raven's videos. Here's one, the rest you'll easily get on Youtube.

That was brilliant, I loved the closeup of the peeps in the London eye pods, and tower bridge and Big Ben, lets face it, its all good, if anyone was going to do it, I'm glad it was this bunch, thay certainly made a classic, and with their experience, it was probably the safest pilots to pull it of.

Unfortunately this gives fpv and people trying to do it safely/properly a bad name in my opinion...

Hope they got a fine or their gear confiscated myself... Keep it to a field unless you have the correct permissions from the CAA....

Sooo dangerous flying in such a built up area.

Ps I could film and edit it better!  :P

Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

Loads of cool FPV stuff on our Facebook Group, like it today:

But it's worse than that.  It's shitting on someone else's doorstep.  If the CAA watch that and get their knickers in a twist about FPV what will the effect be on this "trappy" prick?  Nothing at all.

Between that and the lame, desperate attempts to ride on the coat tails of extreme sports culture I've got no time for them, none at all.

I'm not too worried to be honest about the CAA seeing this and deciding that FPV must stop, I don't think Trappy will ultimately be responsible for shutting us down, as no matter what you legislate they'll always be one (or more) person/people who will ignore that and do it anyway.

As to the video - purely as a video I enjoyed it.  There were angles and close ups of the bridge and Big Ben that I just hadn't seen before and I found very cool.  A new persepective on things.

I'm not a stickler for the rules, I tend to think a common sense approach should be applied.  However, flying over this number of people and traffic on a quad - which has many single points of failure that cause it to tumble from the sky - really is not good.  Whilst TBS has great deal of experience, and a great safety record, my overwhelming sense here is wrongness - despite the cool stuff the video shows.

2 Zephs hurtling down the face of a mountain in close proximity is still far more exciting IMO

FPVSteve

basic editing (for a "pro" team Bleh)
boring flying (quad up Big Ben? Bleh- where are all of the loops, rolls, proximity dives like in NY etc.)
boring subject (buildings? pavements? Bleh)
bad framing on some of the shots (london eye especially)
attention whoring (police at the end, oh look at us, We'z almozt gots arrested!!!11 lol)

Not this one single video, no.  But I could certainly see it being shown in some meeting room somewhere as part of the evidence of why they need stricter rules.  Just such high profile "targets" as it were it could very conceivably do a bang up job of raising the hackles of authority types.

At least it is clear to the CAA that this was not any UK resident as evidenced by the www.aufmschlau.ch link, although only the video editor. I am sure the CAA has seen other Black Sheep videos and would be surprised if they did not visit London after their New York visit which was equally irresponsible.
EasyStar, Skywalker V2, X8, Zephyr II, FPVraptor, Spidex, ZMR250, DG300. Eagle Tree stuff.

average vid... nothing new... I skipped through it... the flying was poor and editing slap dash for a "pro" vid... just the usual "look at me" BS from these nob jockies.

portions of it were not FPV... not that that matters but its how they sell it.

Loopdreams

I can honestly say that I won't.

I think it's a bit overpriced
