Extending your 35 mhz antenna

Or even better, use small bullet connectors at every 2m.

Then if it catches it pulls away clean at the connector, your antenna is still tuned as such, you can vary the length each flight to suit yourself and if any come off, when you land, plug another length in and restore full performance if you carry spares :)
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

Hi coyote,just want to thankyou for your infomation on the receiver antenna,ive extended my receiver which is 35.050mhz to 1/4 wave length and i get 4km with no probs at all.im using my futaba radio with 2.4ghz fpv tx/rx.just want to ask you 1 question, to boost my fpv would it be better to use direction patch antenna or omni antenna?

A diectionl patch or a yagi. An omni with higher gain than 3dbi has many pitfalls and should be avoided
