looks like a great day for you lads, & the weather didn't look to bad although a bit windy I gather, just hope the southern one in a few weeks is as well supported,
  well done you guys.

A word of thanks to Simon and the guys for a brilliant introduction to FPV.  We were the two BMFA blokes who came down from the Beverley area to see what it was all about.  It was great to look through the Fat Sharks and see the view.  The lectures were most informative too, and have sparked my interest.  I'll be following the FPVHub with great interest.  I have just ordered my first FPV plane, a Hobby King Skywalker.  I noticed that most flyers at the meeting were using Bixlers (or similar), but I prefer to use a larger model to begin with.  I'll be back soon when I have built the Skywalker for equipment advice.
Thanks once again to a very friendly bunch.
Cheers,
Trevor

FPVSteve

Nice to meet you Trevor, thanks for coming!

From my point of view it was nice to be able to put across where we're coming from and hopefully with people actively working on behalf of this community we can get those legal issues solved for safety's sake thus ensuring that everything we do is above board. We're a harmless bunch intent on having fun with our planes, nothing sinister despite what some would have you believe :)

See you next time (and hopefully I'll pop over to Beverley at some point seeing as how it's just up the road :) ).

Teamftp

Yep thanks for coming Trevor, I hope we have enlightened you in to the world of FPV and done the sport proud.

Like SteveW I will make sure I pop up for a fly at your club soon.

Simon,.
