My EZUHF is now connected to my Futaba 8 channel transmitter..decided to use an old plug in module and wire direct to + - and ppm ( requires a 10K resistor between PPM and +ve)

All binds fine but as I am not using a head tracker, I want driver camera servos direct from the transmitter ..using channels 7 & 8  however servos just sit at a fixed position?  when i change inputs on channels 7 & 8 ..I can see the signals move fine on the servo monitor ..and all works fine with the original 35MHz 8 channel rx.

I am sure that I am doing something wrong...but what???

Thanks for taking time to read my query..hopefully someone has an answer.

PPM out on a Futaba 8 is only 7 channels not 8, you only get 8 in PCM mode
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

When I said 8 channel tx , I should have made it clear its a T9CAP!
It works fine on 35MHz with all 8 channels but only 6 with the EZUHF ..I am sure there must be something in the programming of the EZ..but I cant find it!

Have got those channels selected for rssi output or somit??

I use mine on a 9c, never used a 10k resistor though, only used one to get the little rf light to work.

Works fine with my 10CAP which I believe is much the same as the 9...

Have you made sure that the channels aren't assigned to HT in the software settings of the EzUHF Tx?

g4uvz

None, Use UHF Tx Pushbutton...this comes up when I read the TX config ..which I assumed means headtracker is off?

This is pretty much what I did ..finally stuck the EZUHF to the module using silicon sealer.
I dont like the Futaba connector on the back of the tx ,, I have had too many intermittents when using the simulator..so a direct wired connection much better.
Sadly i am still stuck with only six channels working which is a bit disapointing given that I have purchased an 8 ch system

Very strange mate - you should have a 8 channel system!!

Have you got the Immersion R/C Update/Config tools setup on your computer ?

If not - get it and install on a pc

Connect to your Ezuhf and it will show you ("Read settings from transmitter") which 2 channels Ezuhf thinks should be Pan & Tilt Channels.

Adjust the Channels to what you want.

"Upload settings to transmitter"

This may well solve your problem.
You learn something new every day.

SORTED!
Pan Source, Tilt Source, Pan Destination, Tilt Destination. all set to None on transmitter & and RSSI disengaged on Ch7 &8 on the receiver.
Thanks to all for help ...I got there in the end!
