looks like you can't use any DJI drones for the flight test, as I have no idea how to get them into Manual flight mode.

they should let you fly in ATTI mode. no one flys an inspire in manual mode...

It would seem weird to want to fly a Phantom/Inspire at a club site... but then maybe it would be great to get an overhead shot of all the planes flying around.

It doesn't seem to work for "normal" flying though.  It's like taking a driving test in an automatic car, but with the examiner insisting you somehow use a gear stick and clutch.
