Bevolution wing with 808#16 keychain camera with wide lens + live vid out.

first go at sony vega video software , like the picture in picture thingy , also did a reverse flight/ slo mo on the crash at the end . 3 turn helical doesn't like it when your right behind it doooh.

Un-believable video quality for how much those video out cams are. Was toying with the idea of getting opne of these instead of risking expensive gopro.

I like it as its just so compact , theres a 5v ubec running this and the transmitter. I could probably run the OSD off it as well as theres a 5v regulator on it.

Could still do with some of the settings messed around with as its a bit dark , and the focus isn't 100%  but for £33 including the memory card  i'm happy with it.

On the 808 16 v2 lens D the wide angle lens' focus can be adjusted just by turning the lens by screwing in or unscrewing it, mine needed changing too, it was set for 3ft - not too good.

Use the vid out to help set it.

Great ending - hpe it's all okay! I have the 808#16 bought about a year ago. Can you post a link for the wide angle lens? How does it fit on?

It's the v2 cam mate the older versions with the pin hole won't fit, you'd need to change the cam & lens, housing & rewire

. The wings still good , epp + 3m cross weave tape = almost indestructible. As flyn said it all came as one unit , bought mine 6 months ago from here:-

and the best stuff for attaching it is 3m dual lock , its expensive for what it is but it works , kind of like lego velcro it locks it in place

should have added you need to smear the camera with superglue before trying to glue/stick anything onto it as the plastic is some kind of weird non-stick surface.

Cool video, I think its the first I`ve seen of live out from a fob for flying on. Looks like it coped really well :)

Finally got out and maidened my TBS Disco with this 808 recording (can't afford a GoPro at the moment). No FPV gear either.  Definitely need to sort out a mount that makes it shake less, using the included velcro at the moment.

My 16 was the same it was never perfect but now somebody else (owns it with out my permission) i left it with a n011 and some cards on my parcel shelf whilst flying  :(
Think its worth getting another one though there brill for the price :)
