Firstpersonview are due the next batch of UNO5800`s next week.

Warning : There will not likely be anymore available until the Chinese have reopened after their new year ( Feb 10th - March 10th. ) So it`s really a case of grab them as soon as they are in.

I've ordered the FatShark module too so I can play before I get the proper one.. I'm going to build a FatShark module holder for my goggles :D

I preorders mine from first-person too Dave, was only way to get one before they went. If you message him he will give you a estimated date he did with me

I have to wait now either way :( lol.. But atleast I can play with the FatShark module :D if I build the module holder for my googles it means no need for a ground-station when I'm just messing about :)

fairly cool, I like the idea of getting a module for my Dominators so that i can just muck about, Does the modules in the goggles offer the same sort of range ? when i took the Uno5800 appart it was just a module on a giant PCB basically.

Apparently its the same Nexwave module :)

It's the same module, but being stuck on your noggin doesn't necessarily make for optimal antenna positioning. Your head is also going to be very defective at blocking the signal if you fly behind yourself at low level.

You will probably see very similar performance as long as the antenna maintains LOS though.

Gear arrived this morning :)

Not sure when the UNO5800 will show up but I'm going to build the fatshark 'module holder' tonight or tomorrow.

I know having it strapped to my head isnt the best but its very convenient for the quad copter.
