Since i have been informed about the naza heli system i have brought out of the construction hanger my scale build for inspection with a view to continueing the build. I was put off by a friends scale build going in hard through bad judgement so now i know the naza is here and works i think i will finish this slowly but surely.
But only after my fpv kit is fully operational :)
scale slots for skids

holes cut for grills and fittings

a proven hot system for plenty of umph

maybe miniture fpv kit we will see :D

Zeeflyboy  The body was advertised as a 450 size and true scale but on closer inspection and looking at the drawings i have for the model that the Cornish air ambulance is i have had to some alterations to the shape and skid mounts etc to bring it into line with the real thing.

My reason for building this model is it is based on the Uk, First air ambulance service but its the second copter they had

EUROCOPTER EC135T2  Reg no G-KRNW  They have the priviledge of having 1st  written on the sides of the heli :D

Yeah 450 size are rarely that accurate... Even the 600 size generally aren't perfect.

Looking forward to seeing this get finished, and definitely put a small FPV set up in there!

With the Naza just give some thought to GPS puck positioning - it needs to be out on the tail boom as far from electronics as possible. Kind of a pain for scale builds, especially small ones.

You may also take a look at the SK-720 and GPS unit due out shortly (if you're feeling rich... It ain't cheap). That has a hard deck mode that quite literally won't allow you to crash your heli... Well not into the ground anyway lol - you could still fly into a tree! The GPS device is much smaller for that though and would be less obtrusive.

Look forward to seeing this built

I had one... but it was a Vario one and 4 servo swash is bit of a mind bender to be honest...

Flew well enough but sold it on.

Had lights and remote glow in mine

Thanks guys for your interest its been on the shelf for a while since i seen that disaster with my friends heli its definatly worth continuing with now,  when i started there was not that many heli boards that worked well, So this will be an ungoing,  bit at a time build until i,m in a positon to buy the ap system for it.

Like most of the guys on this forum,  its fpv when the weather is right that takes priority  :D

but nice to have some scale stuff around for nice days too
