Here's the topic I posted on here, Coyote tested em and said they were decent. Which is not saying anything about my skills really as it's very simple to do yourself if you use the right bits using Sander's instructions.

Yup the are good, I`ve tested them and still use them to this day, built well ( look factory made ) both flights today all be it multicopters were on Dogzilla`s Sander styles :)

Dizzy it is the society that we live in. Nothing wrong with it but just the way it has evolved. A great majority expect everything ready made and everything in an instant!!

I too can vouch for Dogz antennas. Still use mine, no breakages as of yet.

I'm shocked at how many people spend £1000's on FPV gear and then attack it with a 10 quid soldering iron with a tip that looks like it would be better at digging for truffles.

To be fair I do most of my fine soldering with a £15 Weller 25w Iron, so you don't have to spend money. It's just a bit of common sense, if you are gonna solder with a dirty tip, your connection will be dirty and probably weak. So get a wet sponge and keep your tips clean. I also find a little cup of Isopropyl alcohol is handy when soldering to get rid of flux.

My dad used to put together his own amps and build stuff all the time when I was a little boy and he used to go through the sponges like crazy.

Most of the stuff we are using is very finely printed PCB and heat sensitive surface mount components that you dont really want to be having to sit there soaking full of heat with a poxy 24w soldering iron waiting for a pin heads worth of solder to melt :)

And further more the lipos have very low gauge cables that require A LOT of heat to solder properly so you dont just end up with some lightly tinned outter strands :)
