Simon if it's recording from the TV ok then it must be a minor problem. Try checking the following:-

Check you are using the same mode for both video input and record/display. (both PAL or NTSC) ? You'll VRX will properly be PAL unless purchased from the US, although your TV is properly capable of both.

Does the DVR allow you to change the input type, ie scart. composite, RBG etc? Should be a composite input from a VRX

Are you using the correct cabling? Some cables switch the inputs/outputs around.

If you can provide details of how if connected to the TV & VRX I might think of something else.

Good luck with,

Jay.

What's the frequency of your GPS - 5Hz or 10Hz?

It looks and sounds a bit like audio bleedover at the refresh rate of the GPS?

Can you remove the GPS and audio input for a ground test?

Nigel.
You're only jealous 'cos the voices aren't talking to you  :D

Thanks lads
Thts why I love this forum
I will try this over the weekend, pretty sure the cabling is ok though, and the settings are defo on pal
I have the cable from the dvr to the eagleeyes in the correct colour, however the cable end that goes to the dvr is a single 3.5 mm plug
The gps is 5hz but dont think it i this because I tried on the BWEZ* and that has a 10hz gps and this does the same
