Ritewing Zephyr II Build

Well I think it's about bloomin' time I made a start on the build of my new ZII. It's been sitting in my spare room patiently waiting since about November.  :whistle:


This is the basic kit. You don't appear to get much for your money, however it's an awesome aircraft. This is my second one!


The propulsion and RC control system.


The FPV suite. Somehow gotta shoehorn this lil lot in too.

I feel some head scratching coming on. :rtfm:

Things to consider.

If you knew what it cost to get it molded you would see where your money goes.
Keep in mind its not molded in china by a work force of kids held hostage.
The workforce in china usually live in housing on the factory grounds, then they can only see their family once a year at china new year.
They only make a few dollars a day.

The mold for the ZII was precision made in Germany and then shipped here to be used  in the USA .
The plane went through almost 3 years of RND to get its flight manners dialed all while ballancing with heavy bats and camera's.


The original hotwire cut ZI kit was 180.00  , so the ZII was dropped by 50.00 and that is substancial!!!

Its all good buddy   , somtimes the whole china thing makes us take other views. 
I was just trying to clear it up some , thats all.
Sometimes things being so cheap are just that  sooooo cheap!!!

Totally agree with that, I'd rather buy a real ZII for the proper money over a cheap Chinese knock off fr half the price, cos you just know it'll be utter crap!

And with that said, I will support my products unlike any other mfg or supplier will.
So you are not stuck  or if you have any questions or problems with anything Ritewing or Ritewing related.

I am not perfect like most ,I will always do my best to take care of you Ritewingers .

If you get a Zephyr II tattoo'd on your forehead, I'll buy you one. It's gotta be a real tattoo though and I need to be present at the applying of said tattoo. :P
