I know what you're saying mate, but Heisenberg's uncertainty principle says that if you have a 30 foot collapsible pole stowed in the back of the car, then you won't fly into trees in the first place.

...or if you have a 30ft pole, you may land 40ft up a tree :)

I once piled my WildHawk into a tree just across a ditch and had to fashion a grappling hook out of an england flag pole that I had in the car, and a length of rope.

Happily I got the bugger back :D
