Just curiosity, but would love to know what radios everyone is using?  and why you love or hate it? if you had the cash, what radio would you get?

Me, i use a Multiplex Evo 9 Pro, sorry i have a Evo Pro, dont really know how to use it :D
love it, wouldn't change it unless it was for a Evo 12 or 16, but dont think id ever do it justice!!

Futaba 7 right now, love it, plenty of mixes etc, upgrading to a 9 sometime soon though.

I wanted an Evo but they have firmware that stops you having the flexibility of head tracking through the trainer ports which is very annoying so thats stopped me
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

iv seen someone use a magnetic headtracker with the Evo, but your right, headtrackers, are difficult to get to work with the evo, something to do with PPM modulation. didn't stop me though.

i used a sanwa rd 8000 for years but needed more 3 mode switches so had to upgrade recently i ended up getting a Hitec Aurora 9 that i think only having owned it for 2 weeks , think its sweet loads of switches mixes for heli`s do like my m8`s futaba 9 cap , and maybe i should have picked up a second hand 9 cap with what they fetch on ebay they have to be good option with all the modules available and many products in fpv field refer to 9 cap but im glad i got the aurora its nice and ive not got meself a new radio for years ?

I have been hooked to Futaba man & boy from an ancient simple 4 channel 27MHz through to a FF8 on 35MHz and a 2.4 6EX but have recently bought a Hitec Aurora 9 and it is really excellent to programme, operate and comes with basic telemetry. Sadly, it does not currently support head tracking but this is on the list for the next software upgrade package, another great leap forward in RC kit. I would buy it again.
EasyStar, Skywalker V2, X8, Zephyr II, FPVraptor, Spidex, ZMR250, DG300. Eagle Tree stuff.

yea i do like me aurora 9 , is a pain i cant bind it with park zone models i have , and ya cant get a dsm2 module for em even if i wanted to cos its not out yet :) , but only niggles ive found realy are related to the fact its still a very new radio compared to 9c .

im sure in months to come ill think its best radio ever:)

Pasty

Futaba 7cap for my FPV stuff with extended 2m aerials on corona dual con synth rx's.

I'm not a fan of the 7crap tho.

Futaba 9CP Super with dragonlink, can't really comment on the radio as I've only just purchased it but so far I link it. it does only have 8 channels available in PPM mode which the DL requires, so it's the only drawback. Was using an optic 6 previously for FPV, which I did grow fond of (in the end anyway), it's not a bad radio for a 6ch, much prefer it over the futaba 6 which I also own. The dragonlink is brilliant, got to be experienced to be fully appreciated, I've never felt so confident over a radio link before.

Coyote

Here here with the Dragonlink, ill never go back :)

my dragonlink and dragon osd are on order :) 4 weeks , 3 weeks to go :) ezuhf looks good also heard good things but i went with the dragon thats why i got meself new tx so i had some duel rates on me rudder and some other bits me old sanwa was missing

electrotor

Digifleet XP/FM and MX7 1980's vintage and streaks ahead of the Far Eastern ghetto blaster styled radios of the time. OK long in the tooth now but they have servo reversing, adjustable travel value, end point adjust, exponential and channel mixing.
Some of you guys would still have been in nappies then. ;D
Natibus in luto, caput inter nubila.

Futaba T6exap 35mhz but still getting to know it so can't really commenton it...

JR9XII 35mHz and

Futaba 9TCP Super 35mHz

My favourite is the JR9XII.

Many moons ago I once had an Acoms 4 35mHz that I used to fly the very first batch of the Hirobo Shuttle 28

Devonian

Futaba T9C Super, with:
TW-FSM synthesised module for 35MHz - coupled with Corona Rx's means no need for crystals.
Futaba/Spektrum 2.4GHz module - to use with my 'ickle mSR Blade heli
FrSky 2.4GHz module + Rx's - fitted to a couple different models

Cheapie 6 channel 2.4GHz Tx & Rx (from the big fish) - primarily for the 'ickle powered Multiplex Fox that sits in the boot of the car  ;D

Nigel.
You're only jealous 'cos the voices aren't talking to you  :D
