Easter Sunday OOOP NORTH?!?! Anyone fancy a cheeky little meet?!?! **Yorkshire**

Clearly the BEST county in the UK, Yorkshire, may actually have some flyable weather on Sunday. God must be happy that Jesus will be back with us and on his way to sit at his fathers right hand side, he flew to Heaven via FPV you know!!!

Anyways.....

A few of us are making some noises about meeting up.

Liambaker996 (If he has not killed himself on his new motorbike)
GinnerFPV (if he gets a pass out)
TeamFTP (If he has not been linched by some non-Yorkshire folk)

Anyone else fancy a meet somewhere around Yorkshire way on!??! Sort of Sheffield, Doncaster, Wakefield, York kind of areas. May stretch to Hull but I dont think that is proper Yorkshire anymore (SteveW may correct me but he is an immigrant anyways).

The kids are at my Mums over Easter weekend which is in Pateley Bridge a simply STUNNING place for some FPV with loads of room if anyone fancies a bit a trek into the wilderness!??! Could drop off the wife and leg it!!

Let me know what you think chaps and we can get some FPV done!!!

Doncaster is showing 20% chance of rain and 8mph winds on Sunday, sounds good!!!

I'm actually heading up to York and h'gate this weekend, but fpv is off the menu this time. Maybe next time.

If you're in the Pately area, try heading over to menwith hill, the biggest listening station in the northern hemisphere, I bet you could get an uncomfortable chat in a small room for fpv'ing over there...

Or more seriously, head up to scar house reservoir, impressive bit of country and an equally impressive dam to fly over.

In fact the whole valley between Pately and Harrogate would make a fantastic place for fpv.

Look forward to seeing some footage.

There is an RC flying club next to Menwith hill ha ha ha ha. Sure they will not probe me to much.

There is some simply stunning scenery up there to fly.

Shame about that SteveW!!!!! Well if you change your mind or can sneak out for a few hours in the morning....

It maybe best if we meet up at my gaff. Bacon sarnies and plenty of stuff to fix broken quads etc with. Also it is Bank Holiday so pretty much everywhere will be pure chaos to get to?!?!

There is an old slag heap, all landscaped and looking rather stunning, to the West of where I live and it is simply AWESOME for flying up there. Loads of room and some great views.

Well was good but short fly

shame about the wind but least I got to try out the RTH and know that works.

As normal Simon was flying with style and ..... well you will see the video soon and OMG first time I am out flying and its close

Have to say Simon was star and the morning started with a nice bacon butty to get us ready for the flying.
