Y6 extreme setup , design and build.

Cost to build around 50£   :P
Arms 2mm alloy
Plates - 2.4mm Epoxy fiberglass pressed
Allen screws + alloy treaded standoffs

Expected setup :.

Brushless gimbal with NEX 5 or GH2   :-\
Motors - multistar 4822 390kv x 6 =  ;D
Propellers - Carbon 14x5   :-X
Lipos 4S 10.000mAh or 1 x 5000mAh or 5S same capacity.
Controller NAZA + GPS   :santa:
ESC's - turnigy plush 25Amps   

Here is frame without landing gear and strenght test with 2kg x 10 =  ;D

Now that does look strong...

How about making it so you can fold it .. looks like it would be fun getting it in and out of car

No worry got 7seater... ;D ,can't be folding just don't like it...prefere one strong frame.

That`s really surprising how strong that is, I thought initially it didn't look very strong at all in all honesty
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

OK R means = right rotation !

Frame got legs...just need 15mm standoffs ,on picture are 30mm fitted..bit wide ,but that's how it will look like.

Yes 3x CW and 3x CCW

All three on top go CW and all three underneath go CCW, or visa versa.

Some put smaller props on the top because of the reduced efficiency.
My Y6 has the same top and bottom though, never got round to testing the theory.
