It doesn't really 'jump up' its just that the motors do nothing up to 50% then at 51% they all burst into life.

Then it will climb if you open the tap but only just lift off if you stick at 51%

Its just a surprise when the motors do nothing until 50% the all burst into song together.

Yea - no issues to report here either...

I downloaded the new 3.1 Assistant, installed new firmware (via the Assistant) to the FC, and then calibrated the Tx (not that it needed it), and did an advanced IMU calibration (didn't appear to need that either, but I could see no harm in doing it).

Just test flown outside, between rain showers, and despite blustery conditions it flew impressively well.

Takeoff feels a bit different - but then again if half throttle is altitude hold, then logically any climbing (including take off) has to be above 50%... so it makes sense to me.

Medium speed descends seem MUCH steadier - so for me the upgrade is worth it for that added smoothness alone...

GPS lock also seems tighter than before. It was interesting watching all four motors working overtime to hold position as gusts swept past... :o

Cheers,
Nick

I got this after naza update ...need to power ON couple times before it will go to proper connection ??...IT"S NOT FAILSAFE...as I got 3 switch setup and failsafe is slower yellow flashing then this ?..

any idea ?

Flashing yellow really fast "NOT FAILSAFE" after NAZA upgrade.

Not sure Marcin, I`m reading a few reports of the new firmware cutting motors when the stick is 40 - 45% while trying to descend, any one else having this issue ?
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

JezUK1

It has changed the way to start the motors with the stick positions. Is there a way to change it?

Gav

Decent isn't as wobbly now that's for sure.  Had my throttle stick less than %40 but no cut out.  Might add an 'idle up' setting on my radio, so there's no chance of a cut out just in case :)

Take off is better too.  All good.

It is dead easy you just tap enter when you put in the values and it writes it for you.
