meet my new quad







thought that i would have a go at a dead cat style frame

pleased with the results now i need to learn how to set the kk2 board

flys great in stablised mode but is a handfull in manual mode need to dial the settings down a bit

weather looks good for tomorrow will give it a go

yes this is my own design there are some points that i will need to sort out but on the whole its worked out well

It looks like you have further developed the ov3rquad frame...

i had never seen that frame based this on the team blacksheep quad design

had to ditch the kk2 board it was doing some strange things and whatever i did it would not fly outside in breezy conditions just kept shutting the motors down

it shut down at 10ft and broke two of the motor mounts

now changed to a kk 5.5e red controller and made new arms seems to be a bit happier now

will have to wait for the weather to improve to test it out

Looks good, what was the kk2 doing? Like oscillating? I had a similar problem

the kk2 seemed to be working ok but as soon as the copter hit a bit of turbalnce the motors (all 4)would stop and it would fall out of the sky

whatever i tried it made no difference after it broke two of the motor mounts i decided to put a std red kk board now works ok
