Only the first video is mine. The others are from people who attended the meet. I only arranged for the use of the venue and mains power. Everything else (marquees, lights, benches, projector, food was brought by those attending.

Awesome vids everyone. Thanks again Angelos for arranging everything and everyone else who helped.

Shame I only made it there for a couple of hours. Was still great fun tho.

Looking forward to next year already.

Great stuff. Hoping we get some nice weather like you chaps did for Mad Dogs next week :)

Aye Angelos! What a great bunch of videos and flights - I was lucky enough to ride passenger on some of them and it was brill, especially enjoyed the barnstorming!

What a great meet up this is - count me in for every one from here on out, despite my bad (self inflicted) luck with the Penguin :)

Thanks again for the meet, and the help getting my plane back.

Wayne, don't you like the idea of launching a lantern and have the quads chase it up? Bounce is Bounce and Dogs is Dogs - both great meets. Perhaps for the next one, we should think about a two day flying wekend with camping facilities around the field, or just find a better venue? Right then Wayne, please be the first to vote on the food suggestions over on our thread and leave our meet out of this one's thread :)

Angelos fabricated them himself - ripstock nylon from eBay cut to shape and sewed up by his Mrs :) couple of garden canes strapped together for the right height. All cheap and durable yet not too much damage should a craft strike ! My life's been a bit fraught of late - and that's compared to the weird last year or I would have made them (as fabricating is what I do !)

Just watched all the films, loved them, I'm sat hear holding back the tears, looks like I mist such a great cupola of days.
Loved the flying around the balloon lantern, and the light octopus, looked cool as.
all those copters together looked great.
brilliant, the only down fall is that I have to what a hole year for the next one.

One more video added to the opening post.

As Paul said, I made the orange cones (or whatever they are called). There is a cane on the middle to keep it up. The base of the fabric is folded pack on itself and I pushed some junk electrical wire in there to give it round shape and a bit of weight to keep it down.

Thanks Paul / Angelos

It's a bit late in the week, since I'm now at the venue fixing my planes and getting all the grub together. Ill definitely make a plan with these for next time.

Remember you're both invited as our special guests on Saturday / Sunday. We're having a South African Barbie on Saturday and obviously lots of flying. Some of the lads are camping over, so possibly some night flying then off to Wolvercote on Sunday to chase the river!

Ciao!
