Spent today helping a friend / beginner maiden his Axn - standard components used.

I was somewhat surprised by its' performance - faster than I expected for a 'trainer'.

Question:
The greatest surprise was the Elevator 'feel'. Pull to go up - nothing happens; pull more - still nothing happens; pull more and the plane immediately goes vertical !
Is this how they all are ?

PS Did try swopping the linkage horn holes used - no real difference - either as above or nothing / nothing / nothing / nothing !!

Is the elevator cable pushing for up or pulling??

It could be struggling to push against the airflow over the elevator - whereas pulling for up (rerouting the cable) is much preferred.

Google it !!

Something strange going on here because my AXN is pull to go down and push to go up. The elevator horn is below the elevator.

thats what i do for all my planes, including my fpvraptor which had a disastrous design for the rear control horns

I had a problem when i put my axn together. if you used the supplied glue for assembly it seems to seep everywhere.
i had a problem where some glue got to the control rods below the elevator surface it went sticky and therefor made the elevator hard to operate.
take the control rod out spray with wd40 or something similar and move it in and out to free the sticky bits of glue.

Sorry guys,

When I said "Pull to go up", I was referring to the Transmitter stick !!
