What antenna do you have on the plane mate?

Right you have 2 problems then, the dipole is linear and the skew I made you is circular, not compatible really, so you'll have to decide which way you want to go, I would stick with CP, best of both worlds tbh, then just go for the Circular Wireless patch antenna here

The dipole will work with it though, especially in a car as you dont bank round to turn like a plane, I wouldn't use the dipole on a plane though with the patch I linked, 3dBi gain loss on a dipole is pretty much loss of Pic,

Nope sorry mate, I use a special jig I made a few years ago to form the elements into the correct angle, if you send the skew back to me I'll fix it free anyway mate, I'll just strip it down and add new elements

Hi Simon.
Thanks will do. My wife gets there around the 16th I think so will send back with her. I arrive latter on then we leave on the 6th sept I think. Where about's are you? I think we are going to drive from Ayr in Scotland to London stopping a few places on the way.
I also have a mini Quad antenna that I broke the protective cover free on. Might get you to check that as well. I had video trouble but not sure if it was that or the VTX as had a few problems at some time.
Might get a spare Mini quad aerial as well. Think I will need it at some point. I swapped my VTX so had to get a gender changer to fit it out. Ill double check what side I need and let you know.

Hello Mr Bignose, I have had a couple of your Skews for my Immersonic 5.8 Gig Tx/Rx for a couple of years now which still work great and I'm just about to buy a 7" screen with 5.8 Gig Diversity and DVR to fit on my R/C Radio Tx.  What antennas should I order from you to make the most of the diversity capability?
