Hi Simon, was your 3k range flight with the Foxtech/Boscam 5.8Ghz gear? You using a skew on the rx and a skew on the tx?

Yep all on foxtech/Boscam gear with skews on both the rx and vtx
However, atmospheric and global conditions play a BIG part on how far you can go, I was in a big rural area and the weather was just about perfect
I gave been to the same spot with a 500mw 2.4 and rubber ducky and a 14dbi patch and couldn't get past 2500 meters, I know this is comparing apples and pears but you get the idea mate
