Ace, cheers mate.  Looking forward to testing them out, and seeing how they compare to the stock rubber duckies....

Technical question. Will a 2.4 skew extend the range on my virgin media super hub or would. 9 dbi rubber duck be better?

Skew antennas radiate the signal in all directions. Rubber duck antennas radiate along the horizontal plane if it's vertical and vertical plane if it's horizontal. The higher the gain, the more directional they are.
If you put a skew on it, it'll radiate the signal in all directions but you won't get as much range. If you've got a rubber duck on it and point it vertical, the signal will travel further on the same floor.

The quick answer to your question is no, it won't improve the range and it'll probably make it worse but would possibly improve the coverage on other floors.

Does that make sense?
