Setting up the Naza

Didn't want to Hi-jack the Naza M Lite post so thought I'd keep it separate. I've been thinking of building a decent quad for a while now, I was looking at the M V2 but then that thread came up & thought thats just what I'm after & much cheaper. Question is are they a pain in the a*** to set up, being a right Homer with computers I read about "Naza dance / PMU / CANBUS / H3-2D etc etc etc it's a friggin foreign language at least to me?.
Whats the chance of me getting this up & running properly, or am I going to have a pile of bits pissing me off on the dining room table along with the Remzibi OSD that I cant get sorted?. Are there any idiots like me out there that have managed to achieve their goal?

Naza is very easy to set up.

If the naza dance worries you search it here on the forum and you want 3Djim's video. Watch it a few a times and you'll be fine.

He also does some great set up videos.

The 'Naza dance'  is great fun to a saddo like me  ;D

Actually charliewalker, if you're not so hot with a pc, dji stuff is probably a good bet, as their GUI based front end's are well laid out & easy to work with (and not too glitchy/foiblish like some others I could mention either!)

The Naza is going to be the easiest to setup, it takes no time at all to get it in the air :-)

It really is simple with the Naza Assistant software..

You're literally two minutes down the road from me so why not pop over one day and have a look?

Is recommended the ARTF kit from build your own drone he'll have it with you next day

I spoke to Martin at BYOD last night and he seems to be out of them & the Naza's at the moment, he said if I couldn't find what I wanted to get back & he'd send them as soon as he got them in, but as no joy anywhere else I think I'll give him a ring & get the ball rolling.

very nice of you,cheers. When I spoke to BYOD last night he said 1-2 weeks to get the bits in, I emailed him
15 mins ago, told him what I'm after & to let me know when they're in & I'll collect (he's only just the other side of Reading).What I said I wanted was Naza M lite, IOSD, & Flamewheel ARTF, how's that sound for getting started? anything else I'd need?

A few people use EzOSD, the new firmware is more geared towards multi rotors :) that's my next purchase :D

TBS do a ezosd with different firmware not sure if its any better than the standard unit ? Im going ezosd next
