OK, so after having this kit since about Christmas, I'm actually getting round to switching it on!!

So for the Skylark I believe that I can use ANY GPS module right?

I have the Hornet OSD + FY31AP w/GPS and wish to use this for the skylark, the small module you get to sit on your plane do I just do the following:

Hornet OSD ----> FY31AP ----> Skylark Unit ----> FY-GPS module

Also, the skylark module just comes with some pre-wired leads with the random connector on both ends, I guess I just chop this and put my own connector on to fit the units? Does anyone know the pinouts?

Many thanks,

Keukpa

I think you just spur off the power, GND and tx from the GPS to the osd :)

You only need to tap off the green GPD wire for it to share the GPD data
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

But the module will need power? So I guess as the FY31AP-GPS only has three wires anyway (GND, Vcc, Sig), I just pass them to the skylark module and then from the module into the FY31AP module?? :)

Sweet!

Will try in the morning :D

If the osd is 5v take a feed from your UBEC/RX

Well, it appears the Skylark AAT module is 3.3v so that should be fine!
Darn their lack of a manual!!

Should have bought the MFD Tracker, superb manual
Thinking about it, because the Skylark is a blatant rip off of the MFD, I would have thought the MFD manual would work fine on the Skylark

The tracker itself is Simon, but they took a different approach to the OSD ( a better one ) and its different to the MFD version. Different connections, adjustable and you can configure the current sensor which compare to MFD is much better.
