Neat, and ok for the car.  Pretty sure it wouldn't survive an encounter with a baggage handler, mind  :)

I dont plan to take it abroad tbh

Yeah I've got the same sort of thing to put mine in the car.  It's one of the underbed ones from Ikea and it just happens to wedge nicely in the boot between the wheel wells.

That looks Really Useful!  I've been thinking about a case for my F330 for a while...

Duct Tape and a Hammer.  A cure for all known mechanical problems.

Brilliant boxes and even more brilliant if you find them on special offer - usually various sizes which fit inside each other like Russian dolls. My Turnigy quad and some small electric helis get mover around in these boxes.
How's the paint staying on? The polythene type material they are made from doesn't normally hold paint well. What make of paint did you use?
Natibus in luto, caput inter nubila.

Just a heads up, but you can buy these direct from reallyusefulproducts.co.uk in (nearly) any colour you like!
They also have a extra strong range, but only available in solid white.

I did some installation work in their factory last year and bought a van load of seconds from them, I was hoping to get some more there as I could do with some more...

You will be better off getting an aluminium one off eBay for the 330. The 450 is a pig to buy a case for.

That looks pretty bloody good :)

I felt the same way about the PELI case, its a big investment :D

After a little bit of research I found a HILTI drill case that was the perfect dimensions for a F450 with 8" props.

Then after quick trip to a local fabric shop I had some foam cut (using the original HILTI insert/organiser as a template), the rough cutting in the middle was me with a craft knife  :-[

The whole thing cost me about £45 :)

The benefits of having a case are you can throw it around bit without worry about damage plus I can stack my gear upright in the boot now which is a better use of space.
Proud ImmersionRC & DJI WHORE!
..Oh and recent 250 convert!

i got the 3 in 1 offer from maplins. the big one is just big enough for my 330, the medium is big enough for TX, lipo charger, mains to 5 amp 12 volt supply, and leads, spare AAs etc. haven't used the small one yet (maybe GS).
OMG, IT FLIES!

Nice one. I found something similar but i am using 10" props. I would of had to keep on taking off and putting props back on.

the smaller ones are quite reasonable but the bigger ones are overpriced.
I would have needed something like this
