Anyone can compare the V2 against the V1?

Is the V2 much better in terms of flight performance?

I don't have the v2, but they use the same firmware, so probably will feel the same.  I'm assembling the extra parts for when I eventually upgrade my quad frame (450 to maybe 550).  Somebody out there must have purchased both v's??

It's the hardware I'm interested in... Firmware same or not, if the physical box is better performing so will the flight performance.

Yeah I know what DJI say.... Of course they are gonna say it's better. "Optimized hardware structure;"

What I need to know is how it actually performs and whether moving from a V1 to a v2 is a substantial difference in flight performance.

Do you mean the extra bit of hardware for £40. TBH I'm not bothering.

Roger, Roger. Do you have clearance Clarence for that v

Those pics look almost identical to my untrained eye - i think the meat of the matter is the new psu unit with the canbus connections and independent LED

I plan on 'upgrading' my bunch with V2 psu's as and when i need the additional functionality - ie when i give in a buy the gopro gimbal.

In the mean time i hoovered up a new Naza V1 with GPS in the sales

OK so the physical unit itself is basically identical and the additional features are derived from the new addons which you can buy and plug into your V1 anyway.

The units are identical but the V2 comes pre-installed with the new firmware and the CANBUS enabled PMU, but you can buy this for your V1 if you wish.

I'm surprised someone hasn't worked out how to crack a Naza-Lite so they can install the full version of the firmware :)

I suppose they have upgraded the processor on the device. Having a close look at the right corner of the processor, there is a change in wiring pattern. It must have become faster. That is all I presume...
