Difference between NAZA-M Lite, NAZA-V1 and NAZA-V2?
NAZA-M V1 is discontinued in Mid 2013 and replaced with NAZA-M V2, they put some extendability on the NAZA-M V2 and price went up, to fill the entry level gap they launched the NAZA-M Lite, basically the same with NAZA-M V1, but CANNOT extend with fancy gadgets like PMU (Power Management Unit / BEC), Zenmuse Camera Gimbal, iOSD On Screen Display unit or Ground Station Data Link. However, price for the NAZA-M Lite is really good and it gives same stability and GPS Auto Hovering as the NAZA-M V2, so we think if you don't plan to play those fancy functions, stick with the NAZA-M Lite, if you plan to plug those gadgets in the future, go with the NAZA-M V2.

Also Naza-M lite is restricted (at present) to the old assistant software and it has its own firmware branch..

I'd be really interested to see IF there are any internal differences between the Naza-M v1 and the Naza-M Lite.. If there are no differences then the restrictions must just be based on serial numbers?

Naza Lite does have 2 axis gimbal support.   :)

Has anyone on here tried one yet?  They seem great value.  I'm liking the latest Naza firmware though, so am curious if the Lite has the semi auto takeoff, or is it like the old v.?

I think the Naza lite doesn't support Octocopters too....

I'm using the Lite and its awesome :-) GPS lock is perfect and its a joy to fly in manual and atti. Gimbal works fine too.

Question, how is the idle on startup?  And does it do the auto lift off when you advance throttle above 50%?
Just curious as old Naza fware had nasty habit of lifting off after csc movement.
Edit: maybe give us a clip of the startup and lift off bit?  That'd be great

Will do a clip tomorrow but its a non event. When you do the csc you get 2 to 4 of the props spin up to a low idle. Then when you throttle up it lifts off at around 50 percent. Nothing auto about it. It just takes off.
