EZUHF - Differences

OK, so I thought, sod it, it's only money....

I'm looking to get an EZUHF system, only cos it's much easier to get the RXs than it is for my Dragonlink system.


So, I've seen the 8 Ch Diversity, 8 Ch Lite, and 4 Ch Lite.

Except for Diversity so better coverage, is there any difference between the lite versions? I've seen the 4 Ch lite has 12 PPM channels, so that would do me fine! :)

The diversity will help if you want to fly long rage, but if your looking at 3-5km just stick with the lite and maybe use a dipole antenna.

If there is PPM out on the lite and you use PPM then that's got to be the way to go :D

Someone else will need to confirm this but I'm pretty sure you can setup combinations now so you could have say channels 1-5 on ppm and 6-8 on PWM :)

The single channel receivers are more sensitive due to the fact they don't have a switch in the pathway.

Personally have flown many KM  away on single channel, so I'm not sure diversity is that important. Maybe if you want to do mental acrobatics at long range the diversity might be worth while.

And I would always go for a dipole....
