it come with laminate but no riteweave. i think i saw a thread somewhere and chris was telling trappy not to use any riteweave but i will get that 25g per m2 fibreglass cloth and just do a few vital areas with it.

Its supposed to be getting a base layer of white laminate, but you know, i think i like the clear instead, looks cool :)

Heres how im wiring mine up, its all based on 12v components apart fron servos. I always use 12v equipment because its less complicated, less failure points and all the equipment will fully work all the way down to 7 volts if there is any fault ie a cell goes down on my lipos. With 5v systems, if anything drops the voltage you can end up with no transmission which i dont like the sound of :)

Ever thought about on-board microphone? After using one a while back i got used to it & now find it very usefull to have.

I dont know Martin, the DOSD has video in but no audio in, just audio out so im mixed wether a mic would interfere with the warnings or wether i really need to hear them

Well you could just hook the audio out of DOSD to your vtx & u will get all the warning beeps etc.

I do that & just splice a mic into the same audio line - they both mix lovely.

Yea - ive had to add resistors to turn the mic gain down but they work well.
