That goes great. I love miniature stuff ... and Guess what I found in the attic.  :)

A Firebird Phantom.Complete with 27 MHz 3 Channel RC!

Its got a V-tail, which I think gives the same control movements as elevons, so if I can chop out the electronics and motor, I might be in business to make a mini flying wing. I'll have to tailor the size of it to how much weight there.

Hmm better finish my other projects first though!  :laugh:

EDIT: Couldnt resist removing the RC block from the Phantom. The whole thing with brushed motor, RcRx, esc and servos weighs 60 g. Not that light but whatever.

My plan is to take a piece of white EPS and just start hacking at it with surform, sanding blocks etc until the desired shape is achieved  :)

G what is the finished weight of the mini backpack?

I had a new session on Rhino cad last night, and designed a new Depron plane, based on the Habu.
This is just a test glider, I will be looking at fitting some RC after I get the Wii wing flying

Took the Wii Wing to a proper cliff tonight, up at Pendean light house, it was absolutely stunning, as the sun went down, I will have to take the Gopro up next time, to catch the action. I'm loving it

I'm not sure bud lets say, the wing + the 3D printed aileron horns and ply motor mount for £10 + post, what ether that is, dos that sounds fear.
