So, I got me a new 3D Printer...thought I'd do the Yoda model to test it....to say I'm impressed is an understatement!

How big will it print?

Not 'that' big, 14x14x14cm

I got hungry! The original model was 2x the size but was going to take 11 hours to print! hahhaha so I scaled it down and as such the ears go REALLY thin, so left this flaw.

I must say, I've just printed a model I made with my last printer, and the quality is sooooo much better, I'll post up once I've constructed it!

Thanks!

I guess the printing size is a bit small for me. No doubt the resolution is good though!

How does the UP one compare with this http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/1119161671/3D_printer.html?s=p
specification wise ?

I know this is made in China and a copy of a makerbot so there may be issues with quality etc. I'm just comparing specifications and ability really at this stage.

keukpa

Here is a print from my RepRap vs the Up!

I hope you can see the awesome difference in quality!
