Since I will be in Cambridge for a conference october 23. to 26. I figured I'd
ask if someone here is from around there to maybe meetup, fly a bit, have a beer etc.

Trying to get stuff together to build a ~20cm quad with ccd cam, mobius cam uhf and 2.4g video until then.
Would be nice since I could travel with just a backpack.
Let's see if it works out.

Mini quads sounds pretty cool!

We don't really fly quads, I sold my skywalker & other planes as I found they didn't hold my interest, only have my ZII left & my Fpv tiger moth. I've got a large tricopter but only ever fly that if someone looses a plane - search & rescue.

Flying small quad maybe ok in town but, you'll be on your own with that one bud, I personally think there's too many people about tbh.

More than happy to fly with you out of town, know a few spots withing 10 miles of Cambridge.

@Flyn guess it makes sense - that why I was asking.
Got no car so I can't really get too far from the apt but meeting somewhere should probably be possible.
And not gonna bring a suitcase so I can't really fit any planes to bring. Still would like to meet you guys if possible even if just buzzing around you with a small quad.
