As requested by keeny here on the forum I've uploaded some pics of my FY680 build. It's still a work in progress as I'm still waiting for some parts to arrive. I'm also working on some retracts too which will serve two purposes, A - allow the camera to tilt down without having the gear in view and B -allow the VTX to be mounted on the under carriage leg with the antenna hanging straight down once airborne and gear retracted. More pics to come as I progress through the build.......

Looking good mate and you've got some gear on there. Is the gps on a custom stand or does it come with the naza v2 and just one more question,  whats the circuit board at the back for .

Thanks mate. The circuit board on the front is the FPV camera. I mounted it on a piece of cut up drain pipe elbow from B and Q. It's angled down slightly to give a better view of the ground. The GPS mount is from eBay and it's foldable which is very handy:

Just waiting for the tarot gimbal and I can finally get everything together pretty much.

Good and bad news, today i finally received my fy680 only to find i am missing a silver coloured cross member that fits on the leg to attach to the frame.
Also i had no idea what parts i was supposed to have in total, so I've been going through a test build checking on parts.
On a side note, did you have stickers with yours and any spares ?

Monkeys lips  Hi i will be interested in how you go about the leg retracting and also how much more weight you have added for this feature  :)

I have a tarot part built too and was thinking of going down the same route tbh :)

Hi all,

Chris do you have a photo of the part. I'll see if I have a spare. Didn't get any stickers but think I got a spare clip for the arms though.

Dizzy, I'll let you know as soon as I've got all the bits together. I'm still looking at as many options as possible to put it together for the least amount of weight. I think I know which design I'm going to go with but need a lathe to be able to make the parts. I'm toying with the idea of buying one as I might use it for other bits here and there. If it works I think it'll look pretty good  :)

Hi Ritchy, this is the piece I'm missing:

Its the cross member on the top and is part of the legs.
I'm in contact with the vender and he should replace it, but may take a few weeks from China .
Talking fpv i use my gopro and have no probs with the fact its on a gimble but then i aint flying around like a loony, i have my trex 500 for that  :D

Don't think I have one of those spare I'm afraid mate. Bit of a pain as it'll probably slow your build down. At least you'll be able to get most of it sorted by the time you get it anyway.
