Holy moly that was low over the bridge!

chris-s

Bet you couldn't have flown it lower over that bridge if you had tried.

Presumably you got it back then, how did that go?

Glad to hear your getting your stuff back. At least you have proof from that vid that you weren't near the BAE place at the time of the flight.
Cheers, Mark
Alright me old cock sparrow chum, by crikey!
Roger, Roger. Do you have clearance Clarence for that v

there own plans show i was stood 1.5 miles away,
that would mean i would have to see line of site 1 mile away, without fpv that would be impposible, therefore i couldnt have been flying in a no fly zone as they say i was
The plane just ended up in it :)

That's good news, and yes - wow on the bridge.

I guess that's salt water though, so I expect your electronics will be no more.  But I'm guessing your GoPro was nicely sealed, and at least your airframe will be coming on back.

Good for you, it was so stable in flight what F/C were you using.  :o

You look nothing like  your profile pic!

So when it went over the bridge it wasn't being controlled? Then, DAMN that was lucky!

Glad it's all come good!

APM2.5

Sorry - can't recall if this was answered in the original thread about the nasty CAA man.  Is there a reason the APM didn't fly itself back to you when the signal was lost ?  Failsafe not set, or I seem to remember you mentioning that things weren't acting normal ?

electrotor

Let's hope that'll be the end of the saga.
Judging by how far and how steady the model flew whilst not under control, I would say that had it trimmed near to perfection.  :)

I really dont know what happend to be honest

WOW!!!  :o that was close hahaha

it looked like you had it in loiter going round your head?
while you put the gogs on?
then headed out and it was stuck in stabilised mode?

it seemed to just fly off on the course you pointed it..

did you have a failsafe rtl set?
and surly that uhf rc gear would have been good for miles?

did you lose vid and rc at the same time or???

so many questions! haha

simon.
i dont crash... i land with style!

there was no fpv gear on it at all only telem.
i was flying in manual mode, i just seemed to loose radio contact with it failsafe always worked untill then, almost as if the uhf had been hijacked  :+
but all that is in another post :)
